Holiday Mischief
EVFD to the rescue!! This evening the members of the department found out that due to criminal mischief, the lights on Edgewood Borough’s Christmas tree were ripped down. With the unanticipated costs that would be required to get the lights back up and the tree operational again, the members of the EVFD stepped in to formulate a plan to bring back the Christmas spirit. With the help of a ladder truck from Holiday Park VFD (Plum Borough Station 236) the members of the EVFD got to work rehanging the lights back onto the tree. All lights were restored and the tree is once again operational. We are proud to be able to restore the Christmas spirit for the rest of the holiday season. Special thanks again to Station 236 for the use of their ladder truck. Lastly, the members of the EVFD would like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday!
