Kitchen Fire in Braddock Hills

Today, around 10am, units were dispatched for a reported apartment fire in Braddock Hills. Units arrived on scene to find smoke showing from the exterior with a reported bathroom on fire inside the apartment. 137 Engine, responding immediately, laid into the scene, securing a water supply. Once on scene, crews assisted with interior operations, including forcing entry, completing interior searches, and assisting with overhaul and ventilation. Units were on scene for approximately an hour.
