Shed Fire in Penn Hills

Last week, during a large fire in Penn Hills, Station 137 was dispatched for a reported house fire in 221's first due. As EMS arrived in the area, they reported a large amount of smoke coming from a dwelling. 137 Engine arrived on scene to find a shed in the rear of the structure fully involved.

137 Engine laid in to the structure and quickly stretched an attack line. With the assistance of 227 Engine and 153 Truck, the fire was quickly extinguished and the scene was turned over to the Fire Marshall. There were no injuries reported, but one adult was displaced from the shed.

After clearing the scene, 137 filled in to Penn Hills VFD for the remainder of the other fire.
