Around 1330, Station 137 was dispatched into Braddock Hills for a reported house on fire in the 1400 block of Brinton Road. 137 Engine immediately marked en route, and while responding was fed the on scene report from 207 Engine, reporting fire showing upon arrival. Per command, 137 Engine laid out into 153 Truck for a secondary water source. 137 crews stretched a handline into the basement to perform a primary search, which was negative.
The fire took about a half hour to get under control, and units were on scene for over an hour performing overhaul and checking for extensions. During this time, 137 Rescue and 137 Chief also responded to assist.
